Two strategists with a love for craft.

Craft

Cornel is a writer, director and storyteller. Yara is a marketer, project manager and illustrator. Together, we work from the problem all the way through to the content. We’re both big picture, visual thinkers, with a diverse working experience from corporate to freelance. Yara recently completed a masters in Advertising and Editorial Illustration next to her marketing career. Cornel loves turning abstract ideas into something you can watch.

Strategy

At Berjawi·Moesli, our focus is longevity. How do we build a business that can support founders and marketers alike, that can provide both consultancy while making room for creativity? And so our 6-step methodology was born, comprehensive, pragmatic and customizable.

Our backgrounds

We both started as corporate interns, before finding our true calling in strategy and craft – so we know the world we’re operating in.

What started as a casual conversation during a coworking session in The Hague, Netherlands rapidly evolved to a business idea. We realized we’re similar in more ways than not. Both of us are hybrid individuals who get excited over big and small projects alike. We enjoy working with other people, be they clients or fellow freelancers on big projects where ideas can take a real shape and continue evolving. And both our work centers around communication.

Our values

Our experience shaped how we see the world:

  • We’re customer-centric by nature.

We always start with the emotions that drive customer decisions – and we aim to influence them with kindness.

  • We’re pragmatic partners.

We balance between short-term and long-term goals. We’re honest about what we think your business needs, and are not afraid to let you know.

  • Human craft & creativity first.

No meaningful creative work can be made with AI. We do use AI to empower our own ideas, which take shape on walks in nature, evolve during heated discussions, and at times magically arrive in the middle of the night.
